As the cold snap ends suddenly, the temperature will jump to 13 degrees

After more than a week of arctic weather, the temperature in parts of Ireland will jump to more than 13 degrees on Sunday.

Due to the mild air from the Atlantic Ocean, the recent cold snap will be replaced by warmer temperatures.

Met Éireann said that the maximum daytime temperature in Ireland on Sunday and Monday will be between 11 and 13 degrees, which is in stark contrast to the cold temperature recorded last week.

However, forecasters predict another cold night on Saturday, and yellow warnings will be issued for most parts of the country.
